Enhanced BOM Copy & Paste Functionality

This is a short Functionality video detailing our newly redesigned Enhanced BOM Copy & Paste Functionality for the Bill of Materials module of e-manage | ONE.

Along with what was already possible (the copying and pasting of Options / Phases / and BOM’s), users can now copy items directly from the BOM Item listing (the grid on the bottom half of the BOM Window) and paste them within the same project or any other project’s bill of materials.

When pasting within the same project, e-manage will keep ALL of the information intact, including Use or Sales Tax Rates, Special Pricing contracts, OFDA Bid Numbers and Packaging tags.

When pasting into a different project, the items will take on the tax rate (or tax exempt status) of the new project that the items are being pasted into. All Information specific to the project that the items were paste from will drop off and can easily be worked on in the new Bill of Materials Listing.

This functionality was designed to work alongside our other new feature releasing at the same time, the e-manage BOM Item Repository. Please watch the next video for details on the new repository that allows users to have one place for all users to store the items used a lot, or are used together and re-use them at any time.
